Last updated: 16 July 2026

1. Provider

The WasalaOptima service (wasalaoptima.com, the "Service") is provided by:

Wasala Technologies Oy

Business ID: 3353278-3

Vasantie 43, 90310 Oulu, Finland

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you ("Customer") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

2. The Service

WasalaOptima is a cost-cutting intelligence platform that analyses business data provided by the Customer and produces strategic and tactical cost-efficiency recommendations, including AI-generated reports. The Service may be updated, improved, or modified from time to time.

3. Accounts

The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of registration information, for keeping credentials confidential, and for all activity under its account. The Customer must notify Wasala Technologies Oy promptly of any suspected unauthorised use.

4. Customer data

The Customer retains all rights to data it uploads or submits ("Customer Data"). The Customer grants Wasala Technologies Oy a limited right to process Customer Data solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service. The Customer is responsible for ensuring it has the right to submit Customer Data and that such data does not infringe third-party rights or applicable law.

5. Acceptable use

The Customer shall not (a) reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service, (b) use the Service to violate law or third-party rights, (c) upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service, or (d) resell or make the Service available to third parties without written consent.

6. AI-generated output

Recommendations and reports produced by the Service are generated by automated analysis and AI models. They are decision-support material, not professional advice. The Customer is responsible for reviewing outputs and for any business decisions based on them.

7. Fees, billing and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis and renew automatically until cancelled. Credit packs are one-off purchases and purchased credits are valid for 12 months. Prices are shown on the pricing page and are exclusive of applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout. The Customer may cancel a subscription at any time from the Billing & credits page or the Paddle customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Refunds are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

9. Suspension and termination

Wasala Technologies Oy may suspend or terminate access to the Service, in whole or in part, in the event of (a) material breach of these Terms, (b) non-payment of fees due, (c) a security, fraud, or legal risk arising from the Customer's use, or (d) repeated or serious violations of the acceptable use rules above. Where practicable we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. The Customer may terminate at any time by cancelling its subscription and closing its account. On termination, access to the Service ends and Customer Data is deleted or anonymised in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to a reasonable export window on request.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wasala Technologies Oy is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity. Wasala Technologies Oy's aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees paid by the Customer for the Service during the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes shall be resolved primarily by negotiation, and secondarily settled finally by arbitration under the Arbitration Rules of the Finland Chamber of Commerce.

  • (a) The arbitral tribunal consists of one member.
  • (b) The seat of arbitration is Helsinki, Finland.
  • (c) The language of the arbitration is English.
